Essential functions of the job
may include but are not limited to the following:

• Prepare and implement the instructional process for students
with IEP’s

• Deliver instruction, through the use of curriculum materials and
educational software

• Develop daily lesson plans and classroom schedule that reflects
state and school requirements  

• Implement standards for student behavior in order to ensure a
safe, secure and effective learning environment by providing a high degree of
structure, clear expectations, and consistency

Requirements

·         Proven experience as a Special Education Teacher or relevant role

·         Experience working with children with a wide range of disabilities.

·         BSc in Special Education; MSc is a plus

·         Have or be eligible to apply for an Illinois PEL with special education
(LSB1) endorsement

·         Must be able to work up to 32.5 hours per week.
