School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)

Clarifi Staffing Solutions is seeking a dedicated and skilled Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team and support a school district in Knoxville, Tennessee. As a school-based SLP, you will play a crucial role in evaluating and treating students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders. You will provide effective and individualized therapy to help students achieve their communication goals and succeed academically and socially.
Responsibilities:
– Conduct comprehensive assessments to diagnose speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students.
– Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and in collaboration with the student’s educational team and family.
– Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students, utilizing evidence-based practices.
– Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and other related service providers to integrate therapy goals into students’ educational programs and classroom activities.
– Monitor students’ progress and adjust treatment plans as needed, maintaining accurate documentation of therapy sessions and progress reports.
– Educate and support students, families, and school staff regarding strategies for improving communication skills and promoting academic success.
– Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, including IEP meetings, to develop and review Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students.
– Stay current with best practices in speech-language pathology through ongoing professional development and training.
