We are seeking a dedicated educator to support the language development of English Language Learners (ELLs) by designing and delivering instructional plans that meet both school and state standards. This role involves providing individualized and small-group instruction to address the unique needs of a diverse ELL student population.
You’ll work closely with classroom teachers to ensure that English language skills are integrated across various subject areas, fostering a collaborative approach to learning. By creating a welcoming and inclusive classroom environment, you’ll help students feel supported as they navigate their language-learning journey. You will also implement behavioral expectations to ensure a safe and productive classroom experience. Regular assessments of student progress will guide your instructional adjustments, ensuring continuous improvement in language development.
Job Details:
Provide ESL services to elementary school students
Occasional travel possibility; mileage will be reimbursed

Requirements
Must hold an Illinois PEL with ESL endorsement
Demonstrated experience as an ESL Teacher or in a similar role
Experience working with students from diverse linguistic backgrounds
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution (Master’s in TESOL or related field preferred)
