We are currently seeking a full-time Special Education Teacher for the current academic school year. This position offers guaranteed full-time hours until the end of the school year, with the potential for renewal based on performance. The Special Education Teacher will be responsible for planning and implementing individualized education plans for students with diverse learning needs in a self-contained classroom setting. We are seeking a candidate who can collaborate effectively with parents, caregivers, and fellow staff members to develop comprehensive educational plans that address students’ unique needs and challenges. Additionally, the Special Education Teacher will be required to attend professional development sessions provided by the school district.
Requirements
- ESE K-12 Certification.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education or related degree.
- Experience working with children with a wide range of disabilities.
