As the SLP, you will take the lead in developing individualized education plans and empowering students to reach their full potential. Collaborating closely with parents and fellow staff members, you will play a crucial role in formulating effective strategies to diagnose and treat speech delays among your caseload. To fuel your professional growth further, you will attend engaging Professional Development classes conducted by the esteemed school district.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to a manageable caseload of students in a single location.
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to ethical guidelines and best practices in speech-language pathology.
- Conduct assessments, develop tailored treatment plans, and collaborate with educators and parents to foster student progress.
Requirements
- Hold ASHA certification to be considered.
- A Master’s Degree in Speech Pathology or a related field is required.
- Eligibility for or possession of an SLP license in Illinois is necessary.
- CFYs are welcome to apply and will receive dedicated supervision to support their professional development.
