Job Description

  • Attend and actively engage in all IEP meetings as required.
  • Perform assessments and evaluations for each student on the caseload to assess their needs for the academic year.
  • Deliver diagnosis, treatment, and preventative services for speech and learning disabilities among students on the caseload.
  • Collaborate with a team of educational professionals to develop customized Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students on the caseload.


Requirements

  • Demonstrated effectiveness in collaborative teamwork.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities are essential.
  • Dedication to upholding ethical standards and ensuring client confidentiality.
  • Completion of an accredited program for Speech Language Pathologist Assistants.
  • Proficiency in speech and language development, disorders, and therapeutic techniques.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders, Speech-Language Pathology, or a related discipline.
  • Possession of certification as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) from a recognized accrediting institution.
