Professional Oversight:
- Provide comprehensive psychological services to students in need.
- Conduct psychological assessments to inform educational decisions.
- Travel to various school sites as required, with travel expenses reimbursed.
- Maintain accurate records of assessments, interventions, and consultations.
- Provide crisis intervention services, assessing risk and coordinating responses.
- Communicate assessment results and recommendations clearly to stakeholders.
- Adhere to ethical standards set by professional associations and licensing boards.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to educational planning.
- Collaborate with school staff and parents to implement effective interventions and support strategies.
Requirements
A Graduate Degree in School Psychology or a related field, either at the Master’s or Doctoral level, is required. Additionally, candidates must hold Illinois State licensures or certification as a School Psychologist. Experience in educational settings with culturally diverse populations is preferred. A commitment to ongoing professional development and continuous improvement in service delivery is essential.
