Job Description:
We are on the lookout for a flexible Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in a hybrid role, offering speech therapy services both remotely and in person across Georgia. This position provides the opportunity for a dynamic work environment, combining the convenience of teletherapy with the impact of on-site support. Daily Tasks Overview:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders for students with diverse needs.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and therapy plans tailored to each student’s goals.
- Provide therapy services virtually and on-site, adapting methods to fit each setting effectively.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and interdisciplinary teams to support student progress and communication skills.
- Utilize teletherapy platforms and technology tools to deliver engaging and effective virtual sessions.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions to meet evolving needs.
Requirements
A Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and active Georgia SLP licensures with ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) are required. Candidates should have experience delivering services both virtually and in-person, particularly in school settings, and familiarity with teletherapy platforms. Knowledge of special education regulations, including IEP development and implementation, is essential.
