Job Description
The Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) provides essential support to Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) in assessing, diagnosing, and treating communication disorders in individuals. The SLPA works closely with the SLP to implement therapy plans, conduct therapy sessions, and document patient progress. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for helping individuals improve their communication abilities.
Requirements
- Illinois licensure in Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) is mandatory.
- Graduation from an accredited program for Speech Language Pathologist Assistants is required.
- Possession of a Bachelor’s degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders is necessary.
