As a Speech Pathologist, you will:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for school-aged children.
- Create and implement personalized treatment plans tailored to each child’s unique needs.
- Provide one-on-one and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices.
- Work closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support each child’s communication goals.
- Regularly evaluate and document students’ progress, adjusting interventions as necessary to ensure continuous improvement.
- Serve as a resource and advocate for children with speech and language disorders within the school community
Requirements
- Hold ASHA certification to be considered.
- A Master’s Degree in Speech Pathology or a related field is required.
- Eligibility for or possession of an SLP license in Illinois is necessary.
