Clarifi Staffing Solutions is seeking full-time Special Education Teachers to work with school-aged students in the elementary school resource room setting.
The Special Education Teacher will be responsible for effectively collaborating with the student’s academic support team to develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for each student on the caseload. The Special Education Teacher will monitor student goals and prepare quarterly progress reports.
In this role, you’ll:
- Develop and implement IEPs tailored to each student’s needs.
- Create a supportive and structured classroom environment.
- Conduct assessments to determine students’ educational needs and progress.
- Work closely with general education teachers, specialists, and families to support students’ learning.
- Modify curriculum and instruction methods to accommodate students’ varying needs.
- Maintain accurate records of student’s progress and IEP goals.
- Provide emotional and social support to students, promoting a positive learning experience.
Requirements
Have an Illinois PEL with special education (LSB1) endorsement. Proven experience as a Special Education Teacher or relevant role. At least a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university is required. Prior experience working with children with a wide range of disabilities.
