Job Description
- Attend and actively engage in all IEP meetings as required.
- Perform assessments and evaluations for each student on the caseload to assess their needs for the academic year.
- Deliver diagnosis, treatment, and preventative services for speech and learning disabilities among students on the caseload.
- Collaborate with a team of educational professionals to develop customized Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students on the caseload.
Requirements
- Demonstrated effectiveness in collaborative teamwork.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities are essential.
- Dedication to upholding ethical standards and ensuring client confidentiality.
- Completion of an accredited program for Speech Language Pathologist Assistants.
- Proficiency in speech and language development, disorders, and therapeutic techniques.
- Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders, Speech-Language Pathology, or a related discipline.
- Possession of certification as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) from a recognized accrediting institution.
